Daily Routine
9am - Children Arrive
Self register with name tags.
Free play until all the nursery children have arrived.
9:30am - Circle Time
Welcome song.
Discussion of weather & date.
Phonic song.
Short discussion of days activities.
9:40am - Small Group Time
Key worker groups.
Activities chosen by keyworker - including fine motor, letters, sounds and numeracy work.
9:50 - 11:15am - Free Play
Inside and outside play, including:
- Home corner
- Role play, dressing up
- Puzzles
- Construction
- Sensory Play
- Messy Play
- Mark Making
- Reading corner/books
- Small world toys
Adult led activity (one or more)
- Arts & crafts
- Computer
- Games
- Stories
10:15 - 10:45am - Snack Table
We first wash our hands and then the children have a choice of:
- Fresh or dried fruit
- Veggies/Crudites
- Buscuits on Fun Fridays
- Milk or Water
11:15 - Tidy Up Time
Everyone in the nursery chips in to help get all the Glebe Kids toys back into their place!
11:20 - Large Group Activity
Inside:
- Musical movement
- Art project
- Topic work
Outside:
- Parachute
- Garden games
- Ball games
11:40am - Story Time
